Maalaea Bay is located on the west side of Maui half way between the northwest and southwest sections of the Island. This is a quiet little village tradtionally known for its boat harbor where many of the fishing and sightseeing tours originate. It is now home to the famous Maui Ocean Center where you can spend a day in awe viewing the live sealife from around the Pacific Ocean. Whales, and sharks, and turtles and tropical fish are on display here, even Hawaii's own Humuhumunukunkuapuaa are seen here in abundance.
